The story of Ottoman Bar & Grill is one steeped in tradition and culinary passion. Founded by a family with deep roots in Turkish cuisine, Ottoman began its journey in the charming town of Chorley.
Drawing inspiration from their Turkish heritage and decades of experience in butchery and fine dining, the founders set out to create a dining experience like no other. With a commitment to quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and impeccable service, Ottoman quickly gained a loyal following, establishing itself as a culinary destination in its own right. Now, with the opening of their first site in Manchester’s city center, Ottoman continues to write its chapter in the rich tapestry of Turkish gastronomy.

Celebrating our son’s birthday at the Ottoman
We were at the Ottoman again on Wednesday evening for my son’s birthday. Food is always delicious, fresh and hot. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff and always friendly and attentive. The owner is so welcoming. The Ottoman mix kebab is amazing and the lamb and chicken shish is always so tender, served with rice or fries and salad. I’m not sure how they cook the rice but it is just so good. Love this place, we will be back again and again

Worth a visit
Was a busy night but the service was excellent non the less. I had a chicken dish served with rice and salad. The sauce was lovely and all the food looked really fresh. I’d never been before but will definitely be going again.

Pleasant experience……. The food was lovely. We had the sharing platter. Its a cute little restaurant. Staff were lovely. Would highly recommend.

Delicious meatfest
Friendly staff. Delicious food and clean restaurant. I visited last week for a catch up with a friend. The menu has lots of choices and the staff were happy to give more details about some of the options. The smell of cooking meat makes your mouth water as soon as you open the door. The portions of food were well sized and everything was flavourful and delicious. I can’t wait to go back.

A really nice experience
Ottoman Grill and Bar is a Turkish restaurant in the centre of Chorley. It is very popular and you are well greeted on your entry. The staff are very hospitable and efficient. The restaurant itself is Immaculately clean and has a large and varied menu. The food arrived fairly soon, but there is no pressure. It was very tasty with reasonable sized portions. Every other Thursday evening there is a special menu with dancing to entertain you.

Chorley Gem - Marvellous
Tried the great value set menu lunch deal. Choices between just over £5-£8. Tried the spinach and yoghurt dish to start. Very refreshing combination. Had the chicken rice and salad as a main. Very tasty and the nicest rice I have ever tasted. Every grain of rice was separate. Wasn’t keen on the house wine but everything else was tip top. Spotlessly clean, nice environment & ambiance and friendly and attentive staff. If you haven’t been you are missing out. Will be returning to try the rest of the menu.

Amazing food and service
I absolutely love this place for both eat in and take away. The food is absolutely gorgeous no matter what you have but I highly recommend the Turkish delight and the sharing platters. All staff are lovely especially the owner Ugar, he cannot do enough for you and treats his staff wonderfully
